World Class City Rating System

Edward and I came up with this rating system. I develop business, management, OD, HRD, and training models and honoured to have them published in academic journals (blog rubric for example) so whenever we see or experience something in the city, we compare it with our experiences with living in New York and prior to that San Francisco. We've also lived in Los Angeles and Frankfurt so through the years we've developed an automatic thumbs up or down system that we're now calling our "World Class City Rating System." Being a World Class City has many facets - economic, social, cultural, etc. and this blog will discuss each of these aspects of the definition of a "world class city." We'll share our perspectives on Toronto tourist attractions, local hot spots, every nook and alley we find ourselves in and see if you agree or not. Let's discuss! Let's see how Toronto stacks up with the rest of the world's main cities; and being landed immigrants and now Torontoans - see how we can be of assistance in ensuring that it does.

No apologies | Happy Anniversary TorontoDelivers.com

Certificate with yellow borderOur four point rating system (from lowest to highest - Not World Class, Upgrade Something, Lessen Something, World Class) has now been tested for more than a year and we stand by them. Our reviewers have been prescreened and they all are tasked to provide the most raw, real, unbiased, refreshing look at products and services in Toronto.

A world class city is not without issues or challenges; otherwise it wouldn't even be considered world class right? How could Paris be without some of its people not cleaning up after their doggie poo poo? How could New York be without its street bums. But there are product and service standards and competencies expected of a world class city on both the city-wide governmental level to individual business level; thus our website TorontoDelivers.com provides reviews of this calibre and act as a differentiator from the rest of the Toronto blogs and review sites. And we take it to another level, offer our services to the businesses so they can consistently provide peak, consistent, stellar performance.

Our reviews are experiences of the all the input of the moment. For a world class organization to perform at peak, consistency is key. We look for consistency and you may find a product or service reviewed more than once because we want to determine if this continues throughout the lifecycle of the organization.

World Class organizations get a certificate from us that can be prominently posted in their establishment. This is an evidence-based perspective from a tested measurement tool that is used by trained reveiwers. We may make you laugh or cry but it's our tough love for this city, Toronto, that make us continue this blog.

If you feel you want to contribute to this journey of our dear city, Toronto, as it walks among giants - New York, Paris, Berlin, Singapore, Tokyo - then join us and become a reviewer. Email us your name and send us a sample review and we'll go from there.
