Kathmandu Restaurant - Almost there

lassiKtmWhite.jpgWe enjoyed a nice dinner for two at Kathmandu Nepalese/Indian cuisine restaurant tonight. It's at 517 Yonge Street. Our waiter, whom we think is one of the owners, was very cordial, knew the menu from the back of his hand and provided us with excellent descriptions of ingredients and how the cuisine is cooked. Since we wanted to try a little bit of World ClassUpdate Somethingeverything we ordered the Chef's Recommended Everest Feast. The meal started with soup that tasted like Dall Soup with seafood. then it was Chiken Tikka for Allen and Tandoori Chicken for me. The beef curry was delish although the veggies were a bit on the mushy side, maybe its been sitting there for awhile? We upgraded our Naan to Kashmiri and it was worth it.

We do recommend this restaurant but maybe stay away from the veggies - get another dish in its place. The difference in price would be worth it. Our rating is Upgrade Something. Service is World Class. Oh and don't forget to order the mango lassik drink. Yummo! Enjoy.
