Alcohol Treatment

Alcohol treatment is one of those discussions that are unmentionables and for those who call themselves a good friend, this is something that need intervention. I'm posting this topic today because early this morning at 330am the tenant across from our apartment was banging on their apartment door trying to get in because he forgot his keys and the other tenant was asleep inside. The tenant was quite drugged and was spewing expletives as well as creating quite a raucous. This was a surprise considering the location and the type of building that we were in, one would not expect such vacuous commentary.

This morning the same person saw us coming out of the apartment and apologize for his behaviour. It does not excuse the behaviour though so we figured it would be a good idea to inform him of various options. One solution we found online is for him to join one of the Watershed Addiction Treatment Programs as they offer a higher standard of care for men and women suffering from the disease of alcoholism or drug addiction. They even have a test online to determine addiction. We hope that this incident does not happen again but if it does happen to you, here is a site you can possibly share. ~ gloria
