Mill Street Pub is in the Distillery area. In a location like this, you would expect impeccable service. The beer is famous.. at least to my beer guzzling friends. Mill Street has a brewery onsite. You can even get it iced cold from their on-property shop's fridge and bring it home! The food is sufficient to keep on satiated with reasonable prices but unfortunately its nothing to write my mom about for her to rush here and enjoy the delicacies. ![]()
Of course I ordered nothing special either. The portions were not enormous as one would have gotten in the States but good enough. We did get a friendly (cheesy? a bit flirty?) waitstaff who did respond within reasonable time although harried expressions she would have now and then. The experience was blah (with a bit of a eye roll). World class it is not. The place was crawling with tourists which made for an interesting overheard gossip. We'd review this again in the dead of winter and let's see if there is a change in performance. Our guess, yes. Hopefully much better actually so they'd raise the review rating here. Right now we rate it World Class and Upgrade Something combination as its not really there yet. No umph that drives back with compulsion. A must for World Class restaurants. ~ gloria
