A hardware store in the heart of the Village. That's the location of Dudley Hardware. Frank and the rest of the staff are very friendly, they remember your name (or at least your face) and have the patience of a geriatric nurse as they will assist you until you are satisfied with what you came in for.
From paint supplies to locks to drills to light bulbs and keys made, this store from its humble beginnings has it all, it seems. And if they don't, they can order for you if its in their catalogue. I like that extra service where they will call you when your order comes in. That builds loyalty. They helped us with paint mixtures from a speck that we brought in that we liked from our old apartment. This was literally a peeled paint that's the size of a quarter but they came up with a perfect match that we love. Their redesigned store is more airy and less cluttered than before.
