Backgammon anyone?

BackgammonMasters.com online game company is expanding worldwide, placing its attention and resources on Latin American markets. The entrance to the backgammon upon your download is pretty cool. Check it out.

I have yet to learn how to win in playing backgammon as I'm fairly new at it. A friend told me that the object of the game is to "bear off" all of your checkers from the backgammon board before your opponent. Each player can prevent the other from advancing. The object of the game is the same whether you play face-to-face or online. I also learned that there are four types in this program (1) Single Play - In a single play game, you'll play one opponent, one game, and you can win as little as the stake or as much as the limit. (2) Match Play - In a match play game, you'll play one opponent for a certain number of points, and the first player to have that number of points (or pass it) will win a set prize. Winning more points will not raise your win. (3) Hyperbackgammon - Hyperbackgammon is a special variant of backgammon. You play with just three checkers each, but the rules are the same. The strategies are different, and play is fast and fun! and (4) Open Table - In Open Table rooms, you can set your own game specifications, such as stake/limit and whether or not you want the option of doubling.

It's a very sexy game and very strategy driven. Reminds me of chess but quicker and potential to win is quite a lot. The press release below outlines how BackgammonMasters is expanding to Latin America. This is an interesting addition to the travel industry to this part of the world because not only can they enjoy the lovely weather (especially nowadays) they can play backgammon in their pajamas.

http://www.BackgammonMasters.com online game company is expanding worldwide, placing its attention and resources on Latin American markets. By being the first-ever and only company to introduce an online version of the popular Spanish dice game, Perudo, (in addition to their poker and backgammon) BackgammonMasters has now established itself as an industry leader in most, if not all, of the world’s major online game playing regions. This increased activity in Latin markets has resulted in the need for the company to open a branch office in Central America.

By studying and listening to the demands of Latin audiences, BackgammonMasters is able to provide the most desirable and popular community games of particular world regions as part of their global strategy to maintain the world’s largest community game network. In addition, the BackgammonMasters animated series starring their tiger mascot, Jean-Claude, has drawn viewers from all over the world, including those from Latin Markets.

What is unique about BackgammonMasters’ software and all-in-one game concept is that with only one download from one site, players enter one game lobby and select from any number of games whether it be backgammon, perudo, poker and soon to come, blackjack. All of BackgammonMasters games are developed in multi player variations as part of their community concept, and the company has stated that more popular games for the Latin Markets are already in the works.

BackgammonMasters.com, the World Backgammon Network, has a revolutionary approach to online backgammon.
