Toronto Delivers

Toronto has 500k members on Facebook! That's almost 10% of the total population of Toronto and the largest Facebook population in Canada! With that big of a social network, its time to invite friends you've made online and visit the sights in Toronto especially during these weather friendly times.

One of the online hotel booking sites we suggest when friends are looking for a place to stay while in Toronto (our apartment is a bit cramped) is to go to Hotel Reservations. Why do we like this site? Ease of use, the prices are competitive and they don't only carry hotel listings but also condo rentals! (which we haven't really considered until we started looking at this site). They have the motels, resorts and vacation packages with great discounts competing with the world's hotel sites but they have other offerings that's new to us.

What's interesting with this site is that there's less navigational clicking (we just love a site that auto loads) than the other hotel travel sites; so its especially a good option for our parents. The fact that phone number to call for customer service is readily available is an added value to site ease of use. Again considering our parents.

So we tried looking at Toronto hotels for this weekend and found hotels for only $61/night and (that's for this weekend!) Our buddies in NYC are excited about it as the conversion rate is always to their advantage so they come up more often than us visiting them. We also like the site's city guides. That's something new and different from other sites.
