Need Lotion or Shaving Cream? Go to Milestones!

Does World Class Restaurants mean ensuring that one feels at home? The photo here was taken from the Milestones Yorkdale Mall men's bathroom (any of their restaurants seem to have these accompaniments). Do you need to shave at a restaurant? Does this remind you of shaving in airplanes (which of course doesn't seem to happen anymore)? So if you forgot to shave make sure you meet your date at a Milestones but don't forget to bring your shaver because they only provide the shaving cream. So our question remains: Does shaving, or the feeling that you are at home, make a restaurant world class? We think it is a bit over the top but it drives a point (we're writing about it right?)

milestones1.jpgFood is wonderful and for the most part the service is good. Sometimes not excellent because they can get backed up. The Yorkdale Mall location seems to be busier than the one in Etobicoke. Price is on the $$ side (of a 4 $$$$ scale). Cleanliness is impeccable and waitstaff, for the most part, are available and can be relied upon. What does not work? Ability to adjust service expectation when its busy. Tell the customer that one item takes a longer time to complete than another. Immediately give them their beverage (took us five minutes to get ours) and when a bill is requested, provide it immediately (took ours to arrive after fifteen minutes).

World ClassOverall rating? Still World Class though because we were there at a busy time. And we've been at Milestones when it was not busy and we were taken cared of quite nicely. Highly recommended especially for office get togethers (which we did), dates (which we did), or bringing the family (which we also did).
